PM Khan to launch olive plantation campaign in Nowshera

Prime Minister Imran Khan will travel to Nowshera today (Monday) and launch a drive to plant olive trees in the district.

The premier will also be briefed about the benefits of planting olive trees, and he will address a gathering there too.

The federal government plans on planting 50 million olive trees in the country. It is a part of the 10 billion Tree Tsunami programme.

Amin Aslam, the adviser to PM on climate change, had earlier said that the programme has been developed for areas that face water shortages and droughts.
