Karachi man files case against wife for ‘beating mother-in-law’

A woman was arrested on charges of assaulting her mother-in-law in Kaachi, the police said Tuesday.

The First Information Report was registered by the suspect’s husband at the Boat Basin police station on February 19. He claimed that he saw torture marks on his mother’s body but his wife told him that she got injured in a fall.

The domestic worker at his house told him that his wife beat his mother on February 12. She even recorded a video secretly and showed it to him.

The police are investigating the case.
