Ex-FBR head Shabbar Zaidi proposes autonomous tax authority

Former FBR chief Shabbar Zaidi believes the FBR can improve if it is converted into the Pakistan Revenue Service that operates independent of the government just like the State Bank of Pakistan. He said this during SAMAA TV’s show, 7 se 8.  This was Zaidi’s first TV interview since he left the FBR on April 8 citing his deteriorating health.
