Rain provides welcome relief from scorching heat to Lahore

Residents of Lahore got some respite from high temperatures and scorching heat after it rained in the city on Sunday evening.

Residents were relieved as the weather turned pleasant after it rained with cool winds in multiple areas of the city to signal the end of the dry spell.

According to weather forecasters, the rains are expected to continue for the next 12 hours. “These are the pre-monsoon rains,” the department said.

It added that another spell of rain is expected to hit Lahore on June 24.
