Flooding in Chenab River inundates wheat crop in Jalalpur Pirwala

Flooding in the Chenab River on Saturday inundated acres of wheat crop in Multan’s Jalalpur Pirwala.

The assistant commissioner says flooding in rural areas had affected the crop. Rescue teams are at the scene, and relief work has begun, he added.

The local administration claims to have the situation under control and says there are no threats of further damage.
